The bus route was good for showing you around the area although sometimes the earphone socket did not work so you missed some of the commentary. My main complaint is that when you used the free drink ticket at St Stephens platz Christmas market you paid a deposit on the mug but they refused too give you a refund when you took the mugs back so in effect you are paying for your drink

A hop on hop off bus stop location was conveniently located just outside where our Viking River Cruise ship was docked. The maps of the routes are very easy to read. The information about the city mixed with local music was very interesting. This is a great way to learn about the city and its history while navigating popular places to visit.

We particularly liked the fact that we saw so much of Vienna. That would not have been possible otherwise. We were also lucky enough to always have a seat at the very front of the bus on our trips and therefore had the best view. We were even able to take nice photos because the windshield was relatively clean. Another thing I noticed was the friendly staff and drivers, who were very happy when we said we liked it. The ticket booking and apps were also wonderful. We would happily book the trips again and again and can highly recommend it!

Dear Sir or Madam Unfortunately, the blue line did not make the long round trip in the morning but went directly from the main station to the opera. As we were not aware of this and had not found any information in the brochure, we had to change our planned itinerary for the day. Furthermore, we wish that the different lines (blue or red) could be recognized from the outside of the bus.

Great heat, if you want to sit upstairs to see better , there is a covered part to keep out of the sun but the windows are completely sealed and it was very hot we were coming down soaking wet from sweating. If you sit in the back uncovered you can breathe but get sunburnt. Down below there are few seats and visibility ft restricted. Crowded, you can't really choose your seat.

Very nice way to explore Vienna and well worth it. However, what could be better is that without wifi you cannot see when the bus is coming. This did cause us to lose time. Also, we were often standing still at crossroads. But all in all we were able to see enough of the city.

Ticketing was easy. The driver was helpful. It took us a bit before we figured out how to find the first stop and get started - but then it was very easy. The recordings were loud, clear and interesting. Lots of flexibility. We enjoyed sitting on the top which had a sun cover, then later when it got hotter, the lower level was cooler. I would recommend this hop-on, hop-off if you only have a short time in Vienna and want to hit major sights, or to get started in the city and decide where you want to spend more time later.

I took Red and Blue bus totes in one day. It wasy first day in Vienna, it gav e me a good chance to get general orientation and took me to all important landmarks.( Except a few with are in the ancient part of town, like Stephen Cathedral ) The audio was in perfect sync with the sites we were passing by. Vienna has a beautiful wide main streets and we could see all the beautiful sites Highly recommend if you are a first timer!

Good routes and good audio tour. It was 32 degrees outside so the buses got very warm, opening windows helped a little but the glass roof kept the heat inside.

The route is well prepared: musically nice and also with interesting facts. We were really happy. And the networking between the drivers was also very good, because we wanted to get back on at a station in the city - but the last one on the red line had just left (it only runs until around 5 p.m.). After calling the driver of the blue line from the colleague on site, we were able to take this line and drive to a point where we could get back on the red line and board. Really helpful.

Buying ticket was easy on line. Converting ticket at stop was easy & staff were friendly & helpful. Tour was comprehensive. The bus was full at times & in the heat this made it uncomfortable at times. It would be good in summer if roof was able to roll back it would let more air in

Good routes around the city showing interesting places Arrived 20 minutes before 1st red route bus. Was assured the bus at the stop was not "going anywhere" and to get on the next one. Everyone waiting did so only to watch the bus we were told not to get on, drive off at 9:30 and our bus became the 8:45 blue route - not impressed! The bus route was good for showing you around the area although sometimes the earphone socket did not work so you missed some of the commentary. My main complaint is that when you used the free drink ticket at St Stephens platz Christmas market you paid a deposit on the mug but they refused too give you a refund when you took the mugs back so in effect you are paying for your drink

It was too much to be bothered about carrying the bag. While I had to leave my rucksack of a smaller size at the wardrobe, anothe woman brought inside a cross-body bag bigger than my rucksack. There's no such a rule in Schoenbrun which is full of antique artifacts, and here there are only paintings and limiting rope liners, so there's no danger of damaging anything. On top of that, nobody is checking the bags, so you can bring anything in, including hazardous objects.

The upper venue was beautiful, but we were surprised to find it in a state of renovation. The lower venue was confusing to navigate, felt too short to explore fully, and we encountered issues with our tickets not working properly.

A hop on hop off bus stop location was conveniently located just outside where our Viking River Cruise ship was docked. The maps of the routes are very easy to read. We absolutely loved the bus top tours! The fact there were 2 routes were really interesting and filled with amazing facts and sights! However, the boat tour that was included with the tickets (I think the company was DDRS) was not good at all. The staff were incredibly rude, didn't communicate with eachother so were telling us different things so it was impossible to get a drink. The tour was just a bit boring, not much to see and it wasn't advertised how long it was going to be so when we're stuck on a boat for over 2 hours with nothing to see, we weren't best pleased. So I'd say, absolutely book the bus top tours as they were amazing, but don't bother with the river cruise!
