Everything was perfect: welcome, friendliness, driving! The only hitch was the Trocadéro departure point. It says "à côté du musée de l'Homme" (next to the Musée de l'Homme) but, perhaps because of construction work, the pick-up point is opposite, on avenue du président Wilson. So we missed 3 buses! Fortunately, the 3rd driver made us understand to go the other way! Note that we were 2 slightly elderly women, unable to pick up the pace! Smiles. That said, the rest was perfect!

A bus is great for getting an overview of the city and its sights. You remain super flexible. I personally didn't like the audio guide, too much music... I would have liked more information. Easy to start at the Louvre and wind our way around Paris. Not alot of hopping on and off. We only did this once. Great bus ride though and definitely saw all the sites. The "optional" Siene river ride is an extra €16. Be aware.

The Hop on Hoff bus was fine. When we finally got to the Eiffel Tower everything was fine too. However, they advertise the Eiffel Tower without queuing. This is a lie as the guide buys the tickets on site and we stood in line for 2 hours.

The bus driver left us sitting on the bus for 20 minutes and didn't say a word that he wasn't going any further. He simply aborted the bus journey. That's not acceptable at all. We were very disappointed and had to make a very long journey home with children. Compensation would be desirable here.

Had to stand, not enough seats and so no access to oral guide sockets. Need more buses!!! Should never have been admitted on the bus, no-one properly checking there were enough seats available upstairs, it was too late to get off again so had to stand on moving bus for first 3 stops, not easy when you're in 70s! Poor value in the circumstances and wouldnt recommend!

Easy to use and informative. I did the boat cruise plus the bus and would recommend doing both, seeing the city from both perspectives. I did make a mistake in assuming that the river cruise had two stops so missed my spot at Notre Dame, but other than that would recommend doing this.

The convenience of hop on hop off was fantastic. But........ The policy that you need to keep your paper ticket for re-entering the bus is very poor and antiquated. With the current technology available, this should be improved to be able to re-enter the bus with your ticket QR code.

The city tour was very good. It makes you realize how close the sights are to each other. The only problem we had was finding the departure point. We wanted to get on at the Grand Palais. But we couldn't find a stop. I opened the help chat via the app. We then found out that the stop had been moved due to the national holiday tomorrow. We were then directed to the next one. All in all, however, it was very good and the Seine trip was also nice.

The route allowed us to see the top sights in 2 hours. The river cruise rounded off the experience. The frequency of the buses is very short and so there were no waiting times. However, we did not receive a map or the offer of headphones. 🎧 We used the app for the audio guide, but this was a bit cumbersome. It was also difficult to identify the route in the app. All in all, however, we received exactly the offer we were looking for.

The courtesy of the bus drivers, always kind and attentive to the passengers. The itinerary that covered almost all the main points of 'interest. The very good app with the real-time location of the buses and directions to the nearest stop. I had already used Tootbus with satisfaction in Brussels, in Paris I had confirmation of the quality of the service: definitely better than the well-known competitor with the red buses.

Good tour - enjoyed overall - thank you. Didn't receive a confirmation email which very much spooked me in to thinking I had mis-booked or been scammed. The App is ok, but not brilliant. The QR code ticket made it easy and paperfree. The maps were good with the route on, but there are a few niggles where selecting the filters overhangs 80% of the screen space so you can't really see where you are. The buses were good but vary in quality - first one the audio guide didn't work properly - maybe the driver forgot to start. The USB sockets were very welcome but also didn't work on 2 out of 3 that we were on. Timings for the river cruise wasn't obvious to us, so we ended up missing it as we turned up at 18:00 on a beautiful summers day (which didn't feel an unreasonable time) so sadly we missed out on that. A route that went up to Montmatre/Sacre Couer/Moulin Rouge would also have been nice. Overall though, really good experience and thanks for accomodating us :)

The tour itself was fine! Nobody can do anything about the heat on those days, but the air in the bus was really stuffy and certainly didn't have to be like that!

The bus ride was all right except the volume control on the minijack system didn't work. Neither did I like the repeating and often belated messages on the loudspeaker about getting our cameras out because something great was about to appear. On the opposite end of the scale was the guide on the boat trip. She was outstanding!!!! Interchanging constantly between English and French, with solid information in a pleasant voice and the occasional funny remark all along the voyage. She spoke more or less constantly, byt not for one moment did we think it was too much or uninteresting. Impressive!

Good experience, this hop on hop off system allows you to visit the city over the course of a day, which is really appreciated when you're here for just a weekend. Explanations in the headphones in several languages and a version adapted for children, unfortunately a lot of music and the explanations start too quickly when the bus starts, we just had time to put on the headphones!

This what a really great way to visit all of the sites and learn more about the history of the city. There were multiple opportunities and multiple angles to take photos of landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower. It was lovely to be in the fresh air and have the perspective from the top of the bus. The sunset sites were spectacular. We would definitely recommend this to friends.

Enjoyed the ride very much. Because my group started very early, the batobus was literally waiting for us on the stop and for a while it was just us on the boat. Important to say the batobus starts on various stops, not just the first one. Eiffel tower is, of course, the best photo oportunity cause it's really tall, but the whole ride is beautoful and you can completely change your location within the city in a much faster and enjoyable way than being stuck on traffic.

The boat was extremely hot due to no air flow even on the back deck. We ended up getting off as it was so unpleasant. Also, when we had lined up to get on the boat, we were not let on the boat and it left. Some of us had no idea what happened. Another customer told us that the boat was running behind so didn't want to take any people. There is a booth with a staff, who could have come out and courteously explained to the waiting people. I was disappointed with their customer service. Also one of the boat staff told me that the last boat arrives at Eiffel Tower at 8 pm, in fact the last boat leaves at Eiffel tower at 8pm. This is a big difference and the staff should not be giving wrong information. This is also disappointing.

The boat has almost no shade - given the immense temperatures in summer, especially considering the heatwave, I think this is super dangerous. Perhaps this should be mentioned on the sales page so people who don't want to sit in the sun for so long don't waste their money on a ticket they don't end up using.

We had an awesome time at the Eiffel Tower booked through Headout. Unfortunately I did not read all the instructions properly thinking the scanning code would get us in & didn't realise we had to meet a guide. The staff at the Eiffel Tower was not that helpful & one said to ask any guide. Luckily the first person we met was a guide frm Headout & even though we were not supposed to be part of her group as we were a few minutes late for our time slot, she allowed us to join her group & we had a wonderful experience. Would recommend this company & so glad u have booked a few trips with Headout through Europe.

This tour was a way for us to get tickets the summit as we missed the online reservevation. That said we received what we paid for. If you are looking for an audio tour after a guide walks you to the second floor to see you off this is for you. If you need tickets to the summit this is for you. I can honestly say I am not disappointed. As a side note: if you are a penny passport type of traveler take 3 euro in the form of (1- 2 euro and 1- 1 euro coin, or 2- 2 euro coins). This also applies to the arc de triumphe top floor and other monuments as well.

We arrived at 8:30 PM (as per shcedule time) but the group had left. I would advise to arrive 15 min early as per the recommendations. A staff member from a different company helped us get in touch with the group . Following this, another staff member from Headout escorted us down to the place where the group was. A big shout out to this staff member. We are very grateful to the staff for their assistance. The guide was informative. Unfirtunately, due to the weather conditions, the tour to the summit was cancelled. We still had a good time.

Great tour guide, Louise, made the process seamless. A beautiful clear day, making the view clear and stunning. Always a beautiful view, but shame about being so busy and popular, but that also adds to the atmosphere.

Unforgettable Eiffel Tower Summit Tour – Thanks to Joanna! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Finding our guide was easy, and from the very beginning, Joanna stood out with her professionalism. She gave us a clear safety briefing and set expectations early on—there was no skip-the-line access, and we might have to wait. And we did—almost two hours! But honestly, it didn’t feel that long at all because Joanna kept us thoroughly engaged. With her arsenal of fun facts, quirky trivia, and rich history of the Eiffel Tower, she turned what could’ve been a frustrating wait into an educational and entertaining part of the experience. Her energy, knowledge, and customer service were second to none—hands down the best I’ve encountered during my entire trip in Paris. Joanna didn’t just guide us to the top—she elevated the whole experience. Highly recommended!

I am happy with this experience because it was one of my wife's birthday presents-she was really happy and that's what counts! Unfortunately, however, I must observe that the one and a half hour wait to go up the tower was really too long and inexplicable! Especially since having already bought tickets we should have had priority. Luckily we had a very nice and very good guide Mademoiselle LIZ who entertained us by telling us the history of Eiffel, many funny stories and many anecdotes that made the wait less heavy.

The weather took a turn for the worse but actually made it more enjoyable. We got to experience a storm whilst at the summit and it made the experience all the more memorable.

The Louvre is simply unique in terms of its collection and the way it is presented... All family members from small to large were totally thrilled... Regarding the booking itself, I have to say that there were system-related problems but the support responded super quickly and did everything to ensure that we were able to experience the experience with an hour's delay but no matter because the service was great... Headset is absolutely recommended for city trips... so also 5 stars... Thank you!

Louvre is in itself a sight worth seeing. The collections are huge and well displayed. However, to get the maximum out of your visit pre-planning is worth while. As the exhibits are so large you easily end up walking and gawking aimlessly without necessarily seeing what you came to see. The interactive guide (audio guide) takes some time to truly understand. For those who have played games on a PSP have a huge advantage.

The eternal queuing despite having a reservation and a ticket is more than annoying. In the Louvre it spreads out a little after you have passed the second, correct ticket control. For Mona Lisa, plan to queue for another half an hour to an hour. The mass of people and abundance of exhibits is overwhelming - you need several days to take a cursory look at "everything".

Admission went perfectly. Ticket for 12:30 - inside the Louvre at 12:32. Whether this was due to the head out - I don't know - I think we would have got in with any other ticket. We had already joined the queue at 11:30 and were therefore right at the front of the line. TIP: Be there 1 hour in advance - then you'll be inside quickly at the specified time - the stewards will make sure of that outside. AND: You first have to show and scan your ticket when you are inside and want to go to one of the halls - not at the entrance, where only the bags are checked (scanner like at the airport) and not down in the hall under the pyramid roof. The better entrance is at the pyramid - not at the Caroussell - it's full everywhere - but it's much better at the pyramid ... Getting out of the Louve is more difficult than getting in - we got lost several times despite flyers and signs - finally found the Caroussell exit where there is a shopping mile. As the mall is already full anyway and then the long queues to get into the Louvre - unbelievable and bad. Outside at the pyramid it is very well organized. But you need at least 3 hours to see a small part of it. It's best to go in twice on different days to see everything. Everyone just wants to see the Mona Lisa anyway - further through the Egyptian finds, total emptiness ...

It is the most interesting museum, and with the audio guide you are immersed in the history of the paintings, it would just need to be better organized for the viewing of the Mona Lisa, to give everyone a way to be able to see it from the front... All in all, a very good experience.

The visit to the Louvre was a great experience. Entry without queuing and waiting. The use of the audio guide was a bit annoying and confusing. We ended up switching it off. Too bad.

Tickets were easy to get on phone. My husband was able to get the audio on his phone but mine kept declining. Never got it during our visit. We downloaded the audio app before our trip. That was easy also. Disappointed about not having my Audio.

The bus tour was great we get on get off and see most of the masterpieces. The Eiffel tour was unorganized because of the tour guide and information given. I couldn't find the meeting point and I didn't understand why we meet up 15 mins away to the gate/enterance to the tower while every tour guides meeting at the gate. Even though I said I can't walk 15 mins away to the gate with my old mom with walking disabilities and waiting the group at the gate that we will up to the tower, the tour guide named I guess Artun from Qualium, was really impolite and did not interested at all. Nobody didn't hear him vos no headphones or nothing provided. he rushed out at the second floor, no pictures nothing, couldn't see around. at the peak again he couldnt organize the group. It was a chaos trying to rushing after him. It would be better for us if we didn't waited him 45 mins and up the tower by ourselves.

My two children liked the Hyperspace the best, as a mother I liked the roller coaster the best, where you went through the water once and the parades were great. Unfortunately, we missed seeing more Disney characters close to the visitors. We only saw Donald and Daisy dancing. Otherwise they ran past with Watchmen. We were always sent away during the photo queues. That was disappointing. The final show was great, but afterwards there was a mass rush for the exit, not well resolved. We got lost in the crowd and I fell over a high kerb that you overlook in the crowd. Definitely needs to be reconsidered with the routing of the crowd.

Had such an amazing time celebrating my girlfriend's 30th birthday! Even though it was raining on and off through out the day, the sheer magic and excitement prevented it from dampening our spirits. The majority of the rides both in the studios and the park took place inside, wich further prevented the rain from tarnishing the day. The snacks we ate, the rides we endured and the shows we gazed apon where all nothing short of spectacular! Thank you so much for making this birthday celebration one to remember!

A bus is great for getting an overview of the city and its sights. You remain super flexible. I personally didn't like the audio guide, too much music... I would have liked more information. The boat trip on the Seine was very nice. All in all it was a great day, everything just worked out, I would do it again and again.

We used the Paris Pass quite a bit. For example we have booked a tour to climb the Eiffel Tower. The guide was excellent, it was very informative and a lot of fun! Besides visiting other sites which was also very well organized, we also used it for having lunch, drank some Champagne at Montmartre. Everywhere we were very much welcome. We can only recommend the Paris Pass and will book it again when visiting Paris the next time.

Using the Go City pass for our trip to Paris was a great way to identify fun and interesting things to do. We loved the Museum pass too- it made accessing the city’s many museums easy and fast. Bundling the cost was also convenient and helpful in budgeting expenses for the trip. We recommend it to others and have used it for other trips in the past (ie London and Las Vegas)

I used the trip planning mapping feature for the first time on this last trip, and I must say I'm impressed! It made things far simpler than mapping it out on my own. We were in Paris this time, and most of the included restaurants have either a sign in the window or the servers know all about the pass. Absolutely will use again, as this was my second excellent experience.

I was sold a Paris ticket for two people with a plus option to the Eiffel Tower, but couldn't even go to the Louvre or take the Plustaste on the Eiffel Tower because they had no more seats for the days I was on vacation. How can you sell something that is not usable. Me and my wife were very disappointed 😢

My daughter and I had a two day pass for Paris. We really enjoyed our experience. The pass give access to many different attractions, including some meal options. The BigBus tour was very useful in getting around the city. We loved visiting Parc Astérix and taking a boat cruise. I printed the pass and it was easy to use it in all locations. The only reason for 4 starts is the app that comes with the pass could be more functional. Overall, I’d recommend the pass.

Have used go city twice now this year, Stockholm and Paris. Had a terrific experience both times, probably even better the second time around - knew to look up and book things ahead of time. In Paris especially, the Museum pass saved sooo much time! And lovely additions like wine tastings and little snacks. Well well worth it - if you’re really planning on seeing a city in full (or as much as possible, that is!)

Eiffel Tower Elevator tour for the Paris pass was not clear that the station did not take us up to the top. We were the only one in our group that couldn’t go to the top. If we had known, we would have used pass for another attraction and pay for the Eiffel Tower tour out of pocket. There was no acknowledgement or resolution from the GoCity Team regarding this matter.

Excellent and fuss-free experience. One pass and you get to enjoy most of the popular attractions without having to worry about buying tickets and how much it costs. The Paris pass we bought also included some food, wine and cheese tasting experience which is so worth it! Definitely worth to buy and will consider Go City passes again when I travel in future.

We had a week in Paris, France and this was our first time there and first time to use GoCity. The selection of things to see was great and a big help in planning our trip. There was some confusion on using the Museum pass that perhaps could have been better communicated to me up front but otherwise I would highly recommend their service.

We purchased the all-inclusive Paris Pass. It was a wonderful way to experience a wide variety of activities at a reasonable cost. There were so many included tours, food stops, museums, etc. that it was impossible to do all of them, but we never had a dull moment. Definitely double-check the hours with the place of business where you’d like to use the pass; we had instances where they allowed us to use it outside of the hours stated on the app and it saved us having to return to the area at a later time.

This is the second time I have used Go City for the Paris Pass. It is worth every penny IF you plan ahead and spend time narrowing your favorite choices. Be sure to make reservations for the attractions that require it well in advance and you won’t be disappointed! All of the services we used exceeded our expectations and the people at each place were friendly and accepted the Paris Pass without issue.

We used Go City in Amsterdam & Paris & thought they were great value. We hand picked 4 things to do in Amsterdam that included 2 bus trips to several towns within the Netherlands. They were great as our guides were friendly & knowledgeable & places visited gave us a broader view of country as a tourist. The Paris Pass was also a great way to go, we visited all the Iconic tourist spots & we loved the option of food & drinks along the way. Enjoying crepes & coffee in a french bistro was something we might not have done if we didn't have the GoCity pass. We saw so much-possibly more than we would have if we'd done it on our own.

I definitely got my money's worth from the Paris Passb& museum pass. It made my trip great & more relaxing by knowing I had prepaid for many of the main sites I wanted to attend. App was helpful in finding locations of attractions & clear with which ones still need to be booked ahead. Only negative was that one of the restaurants had a description of having views across the river (Siene) which led me to look for it in the wrong place. There is no view of the river, it was still good lunch.

We had good and bad experiences with our GO City passes. Our London passes worked very well with no issues. Our Paris passes had many issues. Two of our guided tours were cancelled with less than 24 hours notice. This caused major challenges when these were tours booked on the last couple of days of our trip. Although we were able to book other attractions we didn't get the full value out of our Paris pass and spent many hours of our vacation trying to rebook attractions on short notice.

I went with my girlfriend to Paris for the first time ever and we couldn't stay long, so we chose the four-days package for the Paris pass. Best decision ever! Of course it's important to be organized so you can go to as many places as possible within the time paid, we got to do many things. We'll definitely be looking for a similar package of go city for another destination

The City Pass Paris was very worth the money. As a result, we really saw a lot in the 6 days and didn't have to worry about costs. I particularly liked the variety with museums, guided tours, boat trips, workshops and especially the culinary delicacies such as maccarons, creps and croque monsieur, breakfast,.... We would recommend the pass to everyone and buy it again.

Some great options on the 3-day pass and we definitely feel like we got our money’s worth - although possibly we did a few things we might not have otherwise paid cash for, but still great. I’d definitely recommend reviewing what you want to do and see if it’s worth it (some things are only included in the longer pass). The pass was readily accepted everywhere listed in Paris so really easy to use

We saved a lot of money while visiting so many places. We are truly satisfied with the Paris pass, we visited way more things than what we would have visited without it and we created some rich memories not only from the museums but also from the wine and cheese tastings and the balloon ride. Definitely worth every penny.

Easy to start at the Louvre and wind our way around Paris. Not alot of hopping on and off. We only did this once. Great bus ride though and definitely saw all the sites. The "optional" Siene river ride is an extra €16. Be aware.

These bus tours have everything you need to travel and explore Paris. The best thing I loved is the Wifi! I could update my social media followers on the go without bothering about getting international data. The ticket prices are worth it and since I use the app for all my bookings it works out with the cashback and discounts.

However, there are some differences between them in terms of routes, cost, and additional perks offered. Here’s a list of things to consider before selecting your Hop-on Hop-off tickets.

  • More routes: While all three operators stop at major attractions such as the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame, Big Bus offers 7 stops along its route, while Tootbus covers 10 stops. If you’d prefer to go on a boat tour, Batobus offers pickups & drop-offs from 9 stops across the city.

Finding the perfect Hop-on Hop-off pass duration

Deciding which Hop-on Hop-off pass to get can be overwhelming. Perhaps this guide can help you out.

  • 24-hour pass: If you’re short on time but still want to explore key attractions in Paris, like the Louvre, Notre Dame, and the Eiffel Tower, the 24-hour pass is the perfect option for you. This pass is also ideal for first-time visitors to Paris, who know which sites they want to visit but do not want to handle the hassle of public transportation. All major operators in Paris, including Big Bus and Tootbus, offer 24-hour passes. Batobus also offers a 24-hour boat tour pass, if you’d rather see Paris from the water.
  • 48-hour pass: A day may not feel like enough time to explore all that Paris has to offer. So if you have a bit more time on your hands and would prefer to explore top attractions at a slower, more comfortable pace, opt for a 48-hour pass. This option is available with both Big Bus and Tootbus. Batobus also offers a 48-hour boat tour pass.
  • 72-hour pass: For slow travelers, or travelers who prefer an immersive experience of a city, a 72-hour pass is the ideal choice. You can explore major attractions at a leisurely pace, while also having time to discover the nooks and crannies of the city. The 72-hour pass is also more economical than having to purchase 3 separate 24-hour passes. Tootbus is the only operator offering 72-hour Hop-on Hop-off passes.
  • Night tours: Paris comes alive at night. Opt for open-deck night bus tours and view Paris in all her bright glory! Both Big Bus and Tootbus offer night tours. Pick whichever better fits your budget and route preferences.

Tips to make the best of your Hop-on Hop-off Paris tour

  • We recommend doing a full loop on your hop-on hop-off bus route if you’re not on a time crunch. This will give you a general understanding of the city and its attractions, so you can plan the rest of your visit better.
  • If you’re a history or art enthusiast, get the Paris Museum Pass and enjoy skip-the-line access to over 60+ museums and monuments.
  • Combo tickets are a great way to save money and explore key attractions. You can purchase tickets to an Eiffel Tower Guided Tour or Disneyland Paris along with your Hop-on Hop-off tickets.
  • Pack light and only pack essentials. Hop-on Hop-off buses do not have the space for bulky luggage, so make sure you only carry your phone, wallet, keys, power banks, water bottle, and sunscreen.
  • Book tickets to the attractions on your list in advance. You can easily book them online, or you’ll have to wait in long queues, wasting precious sightseeing time.
  • If there’s a high-end restaurant you’d like to dine in, make reservations. Most high-end restaurants do not accept walk-ins, especially during peak season.
