Danube River boat cruise
We saw a lot of Budapest! Unfortunately, we didn't have a clear view of the stops, so we took a tour (green). Perhaps it would have been easier with a map. The staff on site did not give us this. We were sometimes approached because we had booked online, or were laughed at because we would have paid more than if we had booked with them on site. We felt like 2nd class tourists. But it was different on the bus: the staff here were very nice. The headphones worked perfectly. Sitting up in the bus was quite adventurous, as the branches of the trees were sometimes so low that even the passengers in the other row of seats were hit by the branches. The Daunau cruise was fine. We would have liked the headphones again. The announcements were unfortunately not understandable. However, I would book the tour again as the price is quite okay. This time on the spot, let's see if the prices would be lower 😉

We booked from Australia and when we arrived in Budapest just showed ticket on our phone and they replaced with physical ticket. Very easy process in Budapest. The on off bus us a fabulous way to get to know the city and easy to see and explore the sights. We do a full lap to see everything on offer tgen then the next lap we start to get "on off"
It was a pleasure to see places we hadn't reached. It's a good idea - you can use the bus as many times as you want along the route during its operation. The green route is difficult to get on (it runs once an hour). It's better not to sit on the top floor of the bus - you'll get your head hot, and most often there is glass or a ceiling - you can't take good pictures. We received instructions about the departure point along the Danube in the mail, which was convenient. Basically, the dock is marked with a sign. You don't have to sit upstairs on the boat either, it's better to sit downstairs - you won't get hot and the wind won't blow, the windows are big - you can take good pictures.

2 stations were not served. We don't understand Hungarian, there was no information in English. The audio guide speaks too fast, you don't understand everything.

Hi, everyone, Just a quick note to say how much I enjoyed our trip to Budapest by bus and cruise. It was really great! Between the walks, the landscapes, the good times shared and the laughs, everything came together to make for a great stay. Many thanks to those who organized it, and to the whole group for the great atmosphere. Honestly, it's great to be able to enjoy moments like this together! Can't wait for the next getaway!

It's nice to get a good overview of the top sights. However, my audio plug did not work reliably on various buses. The German speaker spoke in a very boring way and slurred many names. It was difficult to always follow him and understand everything.

The ticketing process was smooth. I was able to find and use the tickets via my email. The tour was good too. My only frustration is that so many seats on the top of the red bus didn't work. I had to share my headset with my husband. This made it difficult to hear the description of the site's. The other issue is that it was hard to connect the description to the site. Most of this was due to not being able to slow down and 'see' the site & hear all about it. This is out of your control, I do understand that.
Cool we were able to see all the magnificent places and monuments listed by unesco. This city is superb and the Hungarians are very friendly. The monuments are extraordinarily beautiful, a real change of scenery with a very pleasant cruise on the Danube.

audio guide commentary arrives too early in relation to the monument (more than 500m behind). Visibility in some buses insufficient in the lower section and obscured in the upper section by protective tarpaulins. lack of information on what to see at the various stops.

Although the tour covered all major spots, the support team was very rude. They neither helped us with the queries, nor directed us to the right buses at the changeover points. In fact, they made fun of us for asking them for the directions for the river cruise, which is very unlikely in the hospitality industry. So, an experience which was supposed to be fulfilling and fun, turned out to be sour for us.
Wonderful experience, punctual buses and friendly staff, interesting audio guide and easy to uitilize. Alternative means to comfortably move around the city and rest a few minutes between points of interest.

I expected a more extensive title. Tour on the Danube you were not a guide in Russian
Audioguido was somewhat incomprehensible

Ideal for exploring the city alongside public transport. The boat trip was rather weak.
