We had the bad luck of a strike for the pu lic transport but it was still pretty good. I would only wish for thebus driver to even take People standing for those who just want to go for 1-2 stops. Had to wait for 3 buses to be picked cause they were full :( în this way, a lot of Time is lost waiting for the next bus.
It smooth and seamless booking with Headout. We had a good time on the bus, pity about the weather that didn't play it's part. It was a great for us wanting to see most of Barcelona and not having to travel on foot or by public transport. See y'all in the summer of 2025.
Really enjoyed the tour from the beginning of the online reservation, senior discount, staff friendliness, efficiency .... it was a great experience both green & orange. Thx
What an amazing adventure me and my wife really enjoyed it to see everything about Barcelona with no trouble the busses were easy to go and I loved everything about is😎
Both routes through Barcelona are well worth seeing. If you can only do one and can't get off, e.g. on a cruise, I would recommend the orange route. You will see fantastic house facades and also have a great view of the harbor and Barcelona from above. The green route is particularly suitable if you want to visit the Sagrada Familia and Park Güell. Make sure you book your tickets for these sights a few days in advance! Do the park first at lunchtime and the cathedral in the afternoon, or better still, spread it over two days. I visited the cathedral separately and combined the park with the bus. It's better if you have two days. and

It's great how the tickets last 24 hours, I would recommend getting around 3pm so you can use again the next morning to use the other route, great way to get around Barcelona
That you can see all the sights while sitting and all in one day On foot it would take days and by car it is impossible to find a parking lot

Bella esperienza, visitato i migliori luoghi. Audioguda chiara e bus confortevole. Frequenza dei mezzi ottima. I due giri completano il tour della città.

We loved Barcelona, next time we will get 48 hour tour, 1 day was not enough to see everything we wanted :). Had a great time, thanks!
We had a very great tour last Wednesday. We saw all beautiful places in amazing Barcelona city, all just beautiful 🤩 We hope to be back again and definitelly we will use green and orange route again 💚🧡
It was simple and straightforward! The Hop on Hop Off is a good way to see a city to determine what you want to see more of!

Managed to see the whole city and really helped us decide where to go back too. Lovely friendly staff. As it lasts 24hours we used it over two days so we really did get our money's worth thank you
All was perfect. Due to the Barcelona marathon, and pre-purchased attraction tickets, we were unable to use the bus on the day, but the helpful staff told us we could use our tickets the next day. We enjoyed the ride, getting off at lovely places and getting back on the bus.
As we had a short time in the city the orange and green routes were a great way to view the city. You can hop on and off at any time
I highly recommend it to everyone, thanks to the bus, moving around Barcelona is completely stress-free, we saw everything in 48 hours and who goes to the football, the bus stops right at the football field :) Great

Easy to purchase tickets online. Many stops along the route. Having the headphones so we could learn about various sites, landmarks and history was helpful. What I didn't like was finding one of the bus stops had a notice on it stating not in operation from 5pm. This information should have been made available to us by email or on the site.
We loved the system of hopping on and off as you like. We had the opportunity to go sight seeing. The information given through air phones were useful

A very convenient way to get around the city and see it all. You get both red and blue lines which covers everything, and you never have to wait for the bus more than 10 minutes. We were the move all the time! Provides headphones and nice info about the places you pass, very friendly staff. Your time on the pass start from the first time you use it, so if you hop on at 12, you can hop on until 12 the following day for the 24h pass so it could basically give you two days if you use it smart!
Great experience. The route shows us all the essentials of Barcelona. The ability to hop on and off whenever you want gives you total freedom to explore. I'd recommend it.

Being able to see the sights...... But as a foreigner, explaining how to recognize the stop locations would/could have been better! Pics are fro sights we saw.... I would recommend this excursion very relaxing!!
A super fun boat trip, highly recommended. You sail along nice places and the snorkeling was also cool, too bad but very short.

A great way for visitors to experience the rich history and beauty of Barcelona.
We saw the main areas and there were lots of buses!
We were new to Barcelona and the bus was the perfect way to get an introduction.
We had an incredible time, my cousin is from the USA. She was delighted, we did the 2 routes, the Red and the Blue. We got to know Barcelona on this tour. Thanks

Very nice and convenient way to discover Barcelona. The people on the bus are friendly and helpful and tickets are easy to buy online.

The tours on offer are comprehensive enough to give you an overall view. The day rate, which allows you to hop on and off and also take the other tours, is very attractive. However, there was a slight downside: the drivers drove quite fast (was this due to the absence of traffic jams on this December 26 holiday?), which cut off the spoken commentary in the headphones, so the end of the explanations about the place concerned was regularly missing). It was also somewhat incomprehensible that the drivers had to take 10-minute breaks (in front of the santagloria café for the blue line, and at the port for the red line). From my point of view, the speed of the buses is too fast, which creates a discrepancy between the comment and the place that is supposed to correspond. Often the comment was heard after passing the location, and sometimes it was heard long before arriving at the location. There may be room for improvement here. Other than that, it was fine.

The bus routes took a bit too long. Unfortunately we spent most of the time waiting at traffic lights then going really quickly past monuments. I have done a few hop on hop off buses, but probably wouldn't do this one again
The hop-on-hop-off is a great way to see this whole, large city. However, the 'guided' tour was way ahead of the locations which was often confusing and frustrating.
The red line has a lot of nice attractions and we never had to wait long for a bus. Unfortunately, we had less luck on the blue line on Sunday and ended up taking a cab
View original review in German
Did the red and blue tour completely, great bus, great audio accompaniment! The IT system went on strike in the morning, but I was able to travel with an online voucher without any problems... I received my ticket after the first tour without any problems. All in all, a great way to get to know Barcelona comfortably in 4 hours or to go into detail at the individual stops from 9am to 7pm.

If you take both routes (red and blue), you can see the city's most beautiful sights without having to walk long distances. Unfortunately, a few routes had to be shortened due to roadworks, so that you couldn't see the Sagrada Familia from 3 sides, for example, but only the front/the main portal. Also Parc Güell could not be visited due to road works.

It's great to tour the city like this when you only have a day. A little more info at sights that are sold out would be nice. For example, Parc Guell. Quite a long climb and then get to the closed door. Will cost you an hour anyway.
View original review in Dutch
it was awesome having one mode of transportation to get to all the good spots. But! quite a few of the attractions we stopped at were completly sold out so it was useless for us to get off there, and we didn't realize we needed to rebook tickets. it would be helpful to know which attractions should be pre booked to avoid getting off and making our way all the way to the attraction just to get turned down.
Staff very helpful, did red and blue routes, both interesting. Just a shame the air con wasn't working downstairs in the bus on such a hot day but it didn't spoil our experience
I can only recommend it, divide your time as you like, take the next bus and off you go. Go on.

The aquarium is very nice, but it is small, you can go around it in 20 minutes, the little trucks make stops at the most touristic places and you can get on and off as many times as you want.

Saw the most important sights. Didn't have to wait long for the next bus. Had booked a 48 hour ticket, on the first day the Olympic Stadium was not served, which we noticed on the second day as we drove the route again and were suddenly standing in front of it. The organizers could have mentioned that FC Barcelona had a game that day and that was the reason. If we hadn't booked 2 days, we wouldn't have seen this attraction.

the park is stunning to say the least. It is worth taking the time to see it all and to linger and admire the view of the city from above and the details of the columns, nature and construction of the park and the buildings there. Absolutely one of the must-see attractions when visiting Barcelona!

Wonderful park unique in its kind and style, a must see if you visit Barcelona. Too bad about the audio guide that I could not fully exploit as there is a very bad internet connection in the area. In any case you can improve the guide and make it more descriptive as the park deserves a lot. The only aspect I did not like about the park is that the museum-home of Gaudi inside it has a separate cost and is not included. If it helps, arriving by subway to the park involves a big climb to walk up and the escalators at this time were not all working.

Parc Guell is wonderful, a must see. I recommend doing the tickets online at least 1 hour in advance because it takes a while before you get them. With tickets without a guide, you can also enter at a different time than booked.

Very beautiful park, well worth it I went 15 years ago, and I was surprised by the framing of the circuit and the direction of the traffic, which didn't exist at the time.

Quick entry into the park. Take the uppermost entry. It means less stairs and most of the visit is downhill. We made the mistake of taking the lower entry and walked multitudes of stairs to get to the top. The park itself is beautiful. Tends to be very busy with tourists, but never felt crowded. It will take you about 1-1.5 hours to visit. Enjoy! Definitely a must see in Barcelona.
It's been a few years since I last visited. It's gone through some big changes. Mainly The new play areas for children and obviously increased security and payment system. There seems to be more information about the Parks History and I left with a greater appreciation of the Park as a whole and even when it seems heaving with tourists you can still find many pockets of quiet peacefullness to appreciate what a gem the park is!
It's great how the tickets last 24 hours, I would recommend getting around 3pm so you can use again the next morning to use the other route, great way to get around Barcelona
Parc Guell is a beautiful park with amazing architecture and viewpoints where you can look out over all of Barcelona! Tickets and audioguide in app were easy to use.
The map and audio guide were well done and explained well. We in entered on time and the park is easy to visit and gorgeous!

the park is an open-air monument, one can savor it without the limitations of traditional museums while admiring the artist's flair and creativity. It allows visitors to relax even on a muggy, sweltering day, with sheltered areas and green spaces that still allow them to appreciate the elaborate structure of the complex. I have been there three times and would be willing to go back...recommended for those who love art and visionary flair reserved only for a brave few who had the courage to achieve what was madness for others. unique!!!

The square, the paths, the "balconies", the staircase, the columns, the cleanliness of the place except for the toilets - no paper and not clean, too little for the number of people there.

We enjoyed exploring Parc Güell. All Gaudi's creations are fabulous. One drawback: the direction of the tour is not clear, and we didn't get to see the dragon up close... In fact, we could have walked all the way back to find the right itinerary, but given the heat, we couldn't. We were at the end of our rope... We were only about ten steps from it, but it's forbidden to go back up the stairs... the guards are watching.

Breathtaking Basilica.....no words can describe it. In addition to the amazing architecture and stained glass glowing colors, the tour was perfect!! Meeting place was accurate, tour was on time and we were able to go right into the Basilica without waiting in line. The short tour explaining the architecture and plans was very interesting. Even though the group was offered the option to leave the tour and explore everyone waited until the very end before exploring independently. I highly recommend it!

As we had a short time in the city the orange and green routes were a great way to view the city. You can hop on and off at any time
Reach iconic spots like the Sagrada Familia, Park Güell, and Casa Batlló with ease. Two distinct routes cover the city’s east and west, giving you the freedom to explore only what excites you.
Whether it’s Gaudí’s vision behind Casa Batlló or the Gothic Quarter’s medieval secrets, you’ll gain a richer understanding of Barcelona with onboard guides as you move from one iconic stop to the next.
With double-decker, open-top seating, you’ll get uninterrupted, sweeping views of Barcelona’s stunning skyline with places like Montjuïc Hill and Port Olímpic.
Combo deals with attractions like Park Güell, Sagrada Familia, and the FC Barcelona Museum, which makes it easy for you to save money while seeing more.
Don't worry, most of the Hop-on Hop-off buses in Barcelona are equipped with retractable roofs to keep you dry in case of rain. However, you might want to pack a small, foldable umbrella just in case, as the top deck may remain open for those who prefer a rainy-day view.
While bringing your own picnic basket might not be allowed, you can usually bring your own drinks to stay hydrated. Just remember to dispose of your trash responsibly when you hop off. This way, you can enjoy a refreshing sip while admiring the Sagrada Familia or Park Güell.
Yes, most hop-on hop-off tour operators offer discounted tickets for children and seniors. You can usually find information about age ranges and discount amounts on their websites or at ticket booths. This can make a family trip more affordable.
That's the beauty of the Hop-on Hop-off system! You can hop off at any stop, explore the area at your own pace, and then catch the next bus when you're ready to move on. You’re in control of your schedule. Just remember to check the bus schedule to make sure you don't have to wait too long for the next one, especially if you’re on the Barcelona Bus Turístic as they run every 5-25 minutes depending on the season and route.
While it's sometimes possible to buy tickets directly from the bus driver, it's usually recommended to purchase your tickets online or at designated ticket booths in advance. This ensures you have a spot on the bus, especially during peak season, and sometimes you can even score discounts for online bookings.
Some Hop-on Hop-off tour operators in Barcelona may offer audio guides specifically designed for children. These guides often feature age-appropriate language and interesting stories to keep the little ones entertained and engaged. Be sure to check with the specific tour operator to see if they offer this option.
Peak hours for Hop-on Hop-off buses in Barcelona are usually mid-morning to early afternoon, especially during the tourist season. If you want to avoid the crowds and have a more comfortable experience, it’s a good idea to start your tour early in the morning or later in the afternoon.
Yes, your Hop-on Hop-off ticket allows you to transfer between different routes operated by the same company. For example, if you're using the Barcelona City Tour, you can switch between the Green (East) and Orange (West) routes. You can plan your itinerary to see all the parts of the city that interest you.
While Hop-on Hop-off buses are a convenient way to see the sights and get around the city center, they may not be the most efficient option for every journey. If you need to get somewhere quickly, you might want to consider using the metro or other forms of public transportation. The hop-on hop-off bus is really best for leisurely sightseeing.
